Mercedes driver George Russell of Great Britain claimed victory at the Austrian Grand Prix, the eighth round of the Formula 1 World Championship season.
Russell completed the 71-lap race at the 4.3-kilometer Red Bull Ring in Spielberg in 1 hour, 26 minutes, and 37.979 seconds, earning his second win of the season following his triumph at the Australian Grand Prix.
Red Bull’s Dutch driver Max Verstappen finished second, 1.611 seconds behind Russell, while Mercedes’ Italian rookie Kimi Antonelli secured third place, 1.986 seconds off the lead.
The Formula 1 season will continue with the British Grand Prix on Sunday, July 5.
